Lineage Secrets of Kung Fu & Tai Chi

The Secrets of Kung Fu & Tai Chi are passed directly from Shifu to Disciple through specific hidden Lineage Training methods and protocols. Forms and theory are just the beginning.

In this picture you see Shifu Shawn Cartwright with his son, Drake Cartwright, after conducting the Disciple Ceremony. This means that Drake has both trained extensively in the Internal Martial Systems of our Lineage, but he has also accepted the responsibility to continue the lineage.

That's the same charge given to Shifu Shawn many years ago by his teachers as a condition for learning the complete systems that he studied.

It's important to understand that not every teacher conducts the Disciple Ceremony. In fact, many teachers discontinued the practice in the mid 20th Century. This was most common in the External Martial Arts, as they often lack the deep, secret Qi cultivation and usage methods found in the traditional Internal Arts.

In our line we maintain the traditional Lineage Training system due to the high-level internal Qi cultivation required for our advanced martial methods.

There are three tiers to this system

1) Foundation Level - This critical phase is found in our Online Starter Programs. We teach the authentic, traditional methods with a specific emphasis on learning the essentials as quickly as possible.

2) Online Lineage Training Mastery Programs - These are programs designed to document the complete Lineage Systems. The specific teaching methodology we use enable us to accurately capture the entire curriculum on film. These programs are expensive due to comprehensive nature of the training, but they are far less costly than traveling to train private with Shifu in person.

3) In Person Private Lineage Training - While we can capture the entire Lineage System on film, there is about 1-3% of the system that requires In-Person training to complete. This is the particular "feeling" "sensitivity" or "touch" of the style that is passed directly... meaning "hand to hand"... from Shifu to student.

The training progression given above represents the most efficient and cost-effective way to get started (or continue) your Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, or Meditation journey.

For prospective students who know that they want, they can jump directly to Level 2 and begin the Online Lineage Training Mastery Programs. There programs include all the Foundation Material as well as the more advanced parts of the curriculum.

Shifu only accepts a limited number of private students since it is a time-intensive process. Prospective students who have the time and resources to begin In-Person Private Lineage Training may submit an application for consideration.
