Internal Kung Fu and Chinese Boxing Training

This Kung Fu seminar series is for students interested in serious training in Internal Kung Fu and Chinese Boxing in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Also called Nei Jia Chuan or Chinese Energy Boxing, these arts integrate the study of realistic martial application and Qigong.

The curriculum is based on the authentic internal Chinese Boxing arts of Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan), Hsing-I Chuan (Xingyiquan), and Pa Kua Chang (Baguazhang) and Southern Shaolin Kung Fu. It covers form, application, conditioning, self-defense, and Qigong. The major areas of striking, locking (Chin Na), throwing (Shuai Chiao) and weapons are included. You will learn to use traditional Chinese training methods such as partner drills, Kong Sao (free fighting), Mook (striking apparatus), and Iron Palm conditioning.

The class is open to all levels or experience. No prior experience is required. However, you will be expected to train daily outside of class. Direct physical contact is a part of the training. Students may progress at their own pace, but the level of intensity will increase as they progress.

It is strongly recommended that only serious students apply for this training.

Location

The Internal Kung Fu and Chinese Boxing seminars are held at TCCII's private training studio. It is close to the Rockville town center and within a short drive from Potomac, Gaithersburg, and Frederick. The Kung Fu Classes are close to Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
