Wudang Five Element Qigong
Wudang
Mountain is one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. Made
popular by the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” the mountain has
long been the home of the highest and most secret Qigong and Internal
Alchemy practices. In this series, you will have the rare opportunity to
learn one Wudang’s best forms, Five Element Life Nurturing Qigong. This
form comes to us from the Tai Yi temple, one of the oldest Taoist
temples in the Zhang San Feng lineage.
The Five
Element form incorporates breathing, movement, and Qi work along with
postures from legendary Chinese animals. This form will help balance all
of the body’s five internal organ systems and improve Qi circulation
through the energy pathways of the body. Those who practice it daily
will not only experience health benefits such as enhanced immune system,
sustained stamina and vitality, but also better metal focus and
concentration, and a more balanced and peaceful approach to life.
Upon
completion of this series, you will have learned the core movements of
the Tai Yi Wu Xing set and the important Five Element theory from
Traditional Chinese Medicine. You will also be prepared to continue your
training with additional Qigong, Tai Chi, or Internal Kung Fu forms.
The series will provide step-by-step instructions on the entire exercise. The exercise is suitable for all ages and experience levels.

How We Teach

You will learn basic drills and advanced techniques in a progressive fashion. You will strengthen and deepen your practice with authentic internal Qigong forms. Experienced students will have the opportunity to fully develop their Qigong practice through higher level training.
The classes are organized around themes, but students may join at any time. No prior experience is required.
