Jin Ling

Chinese Folk Dance Artist and Teacher

Specialized in Chinese Folk Dances, Ms. Ling Jin has been teaching dance classes in the US since 1996, and her classes were usually the most popular at several Chinese Schools in metro Washington area. Since she founded Washington Jin-Ling Dancing Academy in 2003, she and her students become the most active performers on community stages, becoming very attractive and authentic representatives of Chinese folk dance. Ms. Jin graduated from Beijing Dancing Academy, one of the best dancing institutes in China. Before coming to the US, Ms. Jin was the Department Chair at The Central Chinese Academy of Arts and Culture, and received many honors and awards for directing the Beijing Dancing School for Adults and Beijing Children’s Arts Group. She also participated in many large productions by the Central Chinese Television Station. She is a member of Chinese Association of Dancers and Chinese Folk Dance Research Academy.
